When to look beneath the mats
Debris emerging between panels, buildup around the edges or persistent moisture warrants inspection. During our work, we have observed accumulated hair between and beneath mats alongside retained moisture. This observation shows why it is useful to inspect areas that daily maintenance cannot reach.
Our underside maintenance stays dry
Depending on the job, we remove mats to vacuum debris and reach the floor. We maintain the underside using a vacuum and brush, without liquid washing. The edges are washed with soft brushes and wiped down. Mats then return to their original positions once the surfaces are ready.
Do not trap moisture
Vacuuming removes debris but does not by itself correct a leak, insufficient ventilation or a damp floor. Unusual moisture calls for identifying its source and allowing surfaces to dry before reinstallation. A dehumidifier can help when conditions call for it.
Agree on the scope before the visit
For a Longueuil quote, tell us whether you want only the mat tops or also seams, edges and access to the floor. Send photos and your schedule. Work time depends on the area, number of panels and access; it is separate from the estimated 45 to 90 minutes of drying.
